A Note From Our Founder:

My business began out of desperation and has since evolved into a family affair.   I started out with original jewelry designs but hope to expand to include a variety of different products.

As I grew older I found that I needed to start wearing reading glasses but I never seemed to have them when I needed them. For a long time I tried to hold my arm out further and further to be able to read if I didn't have my glasses with me. When my arm would stretch no further (I couldn't admit that I had become dependent on glasses), I decided it was time to start carrying them with me everywhere I went. I set out on a mission to find a few nice, quality made eyeglass leashes only to find they are very hard to find. I could find lots of mass-produced ones that were not of good quality. Since this was not what I was looking for, I decided to start making my own.

Since I like to wear different leashes with different outfits, I started experimenting with different combinations of beads until I came up with ones I like. I probably have about fifty pairs of reading glasses so, depending on my mood and outfit for the day, I wear a different pair with different eyeglass leashes. Now I always have my glasses and eyeglass necklace around my neck. I think of them as a piece of jewelry and after having much interest in my designs, I decided to start marketing them.

All my design pieces are made using the finest material. All my necklaces and most of my bracelets (except for the memory wire ones) are strung on Soft Flex beading wire that is a nylon coated stainless steel wire. This wire does not bend, break or stretch out of shape and hangs beautifully. I use Swarovski crystals, Czech beads and Bali sterling silver beads extensively in my designs.

When I start designing a piece, I may start out with one thing in mind but if it does not look like I expect, I take all the beads off and start over. I keep doing this until the design looks like something any woman would be proud to wear. Each piece is made with great pride and lots of love.

I hope you will enjoy wearing my designs as much as I enjoyed making them for you. If you have something in mind that you would like to have but don't see anything like you are looking for, just email me with what you want and we will come up with the perfect piece for you. Before I complete your item, I will send you a picture for your final approval before the item is shipped.

My oldest son, Richard, developed my web site and is a tremendous help with the technical end of things.   My other children, Wendi and Brandon are my strongest supporters. Wendi hopes that I will be successful enough that she can become my marketing director and Brandon will be head of customer service.

Now that my husband, Larry, has retired, we have (or should I say had) lots of time to travel and find good, quality products that I can offer to you at excellent prices. He recently retired after 38 years as a professional engineer with the same company. If any of you are engineers or married to one, you understand how meticulous they are over detail. He makes a wonderful quality control manager even if he does not realize that's his title in this endeavor.

I always wanted to be a personal shopper for people who do not have the time to do all the legwork necessary to find these products so now I feel that is exactly what I am. The items I offer are things that I really like and I think others will be proud to own.

HOW TO ORDER -

If you see an item you are interested in, click the email icon located at the bottom of every page. That will open an email to us. In the subject line, please enter the item number or numbers for the item(s) you are interested in. We will respond to your inquiry in a timely fashion. If you would like to purchase the item(s), please include your name, shipping address, and telephone number. We will respond with total price, including shipping and handling costs. If the item is no longer available, we can custom make you another one very similar to the one you inquired about. Custom orders require 50% down with the balance due when item(s) is ready for shipping.

PAYMENT POLICY -

Once we have confirmed availability and charges, we accept the following forms of payment: Money order and cashiers checks. We also accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express accepted through PalPal. If you don't already have a PayPal account, you can sign up for one FREE when you choose PayPal in the payment option screen. It's fast and it's easy to sign up. All funds must be in US Dollars drawn on a U.S. Bank. If you prefer to pay by money order or cashiers check, please let us know when ordering. All funds must be in US Dollars drawn on a U.S. Bank. We will then hold the item for seven (7) business days to give you time to send payment. Upon receipt of payment, the item(s) will be shipped within 48 hours unless extenuating circumstances cause a delay of which you would be notified.

SHIPPING -

Buyer pays all shipping cost. Items will be sent by USPS Priority Mail at a cost of $4.95. If you choose to use USPS Express Mail service the cost will be $18.85.

Shipping insurance is NOT included, so please add the following rate, if desired:

Up to $50.00 = $1.30

$51.00 - $100.00 = $2.20

$101.00 - $150.00 = $3.20

$151.00 - $250.00 = $4.20

$251.00 and up - Add $1.00 per each $100.00

If purchasing more than one item, please wait for a combined total that will include the one shipping cost. You may also pay $6.00 for USPS priority delivery with confirmation. We ship only in the United States and Canada. No international shipping please. We typically ship within 48 hours of purchase, although extenuating circumstances may cause delay (of which buyer will be notified).

TERMS OF SALE -

We certainly hope you will be 100% satisfied with your purchase as we make every effort to accurately describe and photograph items -- so please email with any inquiries you may have before purchasing an item(s).   All sales are final unless the item(s) is not as described or defective. If a refund is required due to one of these reasons, we will refund the purchase price, less shipping and handling charges after the receipt of the returned item. The buyer will be responsible for shipping charges incurred to return the item(s). However, we will not charge shipping when shipping the replacement items.
